Effective January 1, 2007, Frontier Lodge is able to issue receipts that can be used as Tax Credits. The Government of Canada implemented the tax credit to promote physical fitness among children. Families with children under 16 years of age, may apply for a tax credit that provides up to $500 in eligible fees for programs of physical activity.
Why is there a tax credit?
The Government of Canada consulted with a panel of experts in health and physical fitness to determine which programs should be eligible for the credit.
What do I do?
Frontier Lodge will provide you with a receipt. Keep this receipt and claim the tax credit on your next income tax return. For more information visit:
