Come and enjoy a time of rest and fellowship. Spend the day relaxing in the lodge by our fireplace, or head out for rappelling, hiking or ice climbing in God’s creation. Listen in to some sessions by an insightful speaker and enjoy some times of worship.

LIVING A LIFE WORTHY OF THE CALLING
You're a person that recognizes God's call in their life to shepherd others. You're not a CEO; you're not a motivational guru; you are a pastor. You're the person that puts on the rubber boots and walks amongst the sheep and all that they leave behind. It gets messy, it's tiring, and sometimes you wonder if you are making a difference. This retreat will allow for you to enter into a dialogue with other pastors. While rappelling through sections of Ephesians you will have opportunity to be encouraged, comforted, and challenged. Along the way you will have occasion to consider how God has called you to make a difference in the lives of those around you.
Our Speaker is Dan Schroth. After 18 years of serving in the civil service, Dan answered the call to fulltime ministry as a youth pastor; attained his M.Div at Taylor Seminary; and since 2005 serves as the Adult Ministries Pastor at Mckernan Baptist Church in Edmonton. Dan is married to Andrea, and together they have three vigorous boys and one enthralling daughter. Dan's life mission is "to be completely satisfied in Jesus Christ and to influence others to the same." As a family, they love community and the outdoors.
