August 13-18, 2017
Now that you can ride well on rough terrain, you may not know how to take your skills to the next level. This camp is for those competent riders who have developed good riding skills but are ready to take it one step further. If you have mountain biked before and are comfortable climbing and descending hills as well as taking small drops (1 to 3 ft.) or jumps, this camp is for you. Learning to ride the steeps, climb the hills and hit the jumps will all be part of this action-packed week.
Most of the time will be spent on medium difficulty cross-country trails and downhill trails, as well as our dual slalom course and flow trail. Time in the evenings will be spent honing your freeride skills on the course, learning about bike maintenance, playing games and hanging out at the campfire.
Bring your own mountain bike if you can, otherwise, hard tail mountain bikes will be provided at no extra charge.
