sons & BROTHERS 2.0

march 17-19, 2023

Men, we want to invite you to a Sons & Brothers Alberta weekend (formerly Band of Brothers Alberta).

It is our hope that you will come and experience dynamic positive change like the hundreds of men that

have gone before. It is a weekend designed for one purpose, for you to experience freedom in Jesus like

you may have never experienced before.

One of the speakers for our Sons and Brothers weekend is Jody Klassen. Jody is a farmer at Mayerthorpe Alberta who has been attending and leading mens events for seventeen years. He has a wide range of experience in Christian leadership. He wants to see men walk in the fullness of their calling in their churches, families, and communities. He can be reached at

"From personal experience, I can say that standing together with 75 other newly recommitted and inspired men singing “In Christ Alone” is truly inspiring and meaningful. We have seen men return to their churches and be more engaged and sometimes significantly so. It is always good for the kingdom when men draw closer to God – becoming better men, fathers, husbands, and leaders. We hope you will support this ministry by encouraging men in your influence to attend."

Our purpose is to empower men to step into their God given identity. Inspiring sessions designed specifically for men combined with intentional time alone with God open the door of our hearts and mind to meaningful spirit led truth to penetrate our lives. The men who speak are always authentic, bringing biblical truth to each session, challenging and encouraging you in your spiritual walk. There is a significant amount of multimedia used in our sessions because we can often see ourselves better through the lens of story. A core value of ours is to respect each mans journey and so all participation is voluntary at a Sons & Brothers event. We will be encouraging you to build community with the men you attend with, including after the event. If you come on your own, we will try connect you with other men in your community. You are encouraged to take what you learn from each session and apply it at your own pace. We invest in significant training for so many other roles in our life – why not our most important role – being disciples of Jesus. We hope you will take time to invest in understanding better who you are in Jesus. Join us Oct. 28-30 for a weekend that could bring significant change in your life!

For more info on the sessions, you can email Jody Klassen at, call or text 780-204-0391.
